A fun place for children to learn about God’s love & truth each Sunday through creative Bible teaching, active worship music, small group discussion, and interactive activities. We want kids to understand and love God’s Word, learn how God's Story is connected to their story, and then share it with others!

FAQs

  • Kid’s Ministry is available during the Sunday gatherings at 8:30 a.m., 10 a.m., 11:30 a.m. or 5 p.m. offering drop-off from infants – 5th grade.  Doors open 15 minutes prior to the start of each gathering. Please allow extra time for first-time guests to check-in

  • We are thrilled to have you come and visit! Fill out our First-Time Family Form HERE. Then when you arrive on Sunday,  stop by our First-Time Visitor counter and we will be happy to check your child(ren) in and lead them to the rooms and areas that they are assigned. After your first week, you will be able to pre-check-in while you are at home! Just download the ‘church center’ app! Welcome, and we hope you and your children love Hillside as much as we do!

  • There are a few things for our Parents to be aware of when dropping off their kiddos:

    • Make sure to park in the Kids Ministry Parking Lot, at the Vista Grove entrance.

    • Check-in is located outside on the Bridge.

    • Have your church center app open so you can just scan your code or type in your phone number.

    • Please ONLY 1 Parent during drop off and pick. This helps to have shorter and quicker lines for all of our families!

    • Pick-up will happen inside of your child(s) classroom. Just have your code ready to show.

    Two Simple Things for you to do before you arrive:

    • Download the Churchcenter app to your phone

    • Pre Check-in your kids on the app AT HOME before you arrive at the gathering

  • For all children who need assistance because of a developmental or physical challenge, we provide a safe and loving environment. For Elementary-aged students who have special needs, we provide a class just for them called Super Squad. This class is only available at the 11:00 AM Gathering. If you are interested in learning more, contact our team using the form below.

  • We run background checks on all our volunteers. We offer a security identification and check-in/check-out system. If you need to be contacted during the gathering, you will be promptly notified through text message. For the health of the children, we cannot accept any sick child at check-in. Among our previously stated safety policies, we have the following updates.

To provide an intentional, safe, and loving environment for our kids, we need parents and people like you! Every single volunteer in our Ministry plays a huge role in God’s Kingdom work. Our check-in Team, our Special Needs Ministry, our kid’s worship team, our tech team, our small group leaders, our Preschool leaders, our mid-week helpers, and our teen volunteers. We cannot do Ministry without people like you!
